Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Blantyre
Welcome to Malawi! Upon arrival at Chileka International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our driver and escorted to your hotel in Blantyre, where you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 - 4
Majete Wildlife Reserve
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Majete National Park in Malawi to spend the next 3 nights at Thawale Lodge. Majete is a thriving wildlife reserve, home to the Big Five and rich in diverse ecosystems. Majete is known for its successful conservation efforts, it offers visitors an authentic safari experience in a natural setting.
You will stay in Thawale Lodge on FB basis with two game activities included.
Day 5 - 7
Cape Mclear
Today, you'll travel to Cape Maclear, and onto Mumbo Island where you can enjoy the clear waters of Lake Malawi and explore its vibrant marine life. Get ready for a few fun days filled with snorkelling, kayaking, boat tours and discovering nearby islands.
You will stay on Mumbo Island on FB basis.
Day 8 - 10
Liwonde National Park
After Mumbo Island, it is time for another safari experience in Liwonde National Park. This park offers a wide variety of wildlife, birds and huge cheetah plains. The Rhino has been reintroduced here some years ago.
You will stay at Mvuu Camp on FB basis including two game activities which are a game drive or boat safari.
Day 11 - 12
Zomba Plateau
After your morning activity you will be transferred to Zomba Plateau. Zomba is a forested highland with stunning views, waterfalls, and various hiking trails. It’s cool climate and rich biodiversity makes it a peaceful retreat with tea estates, pine forests, and unique rock formations. Here you can enjoy hikes along the plateau or visits to the nearby Zomba Town for visits to the market or historic buildings.

Day 13
Chileka International Airport
As your trip concludes, you'll head back to Blantyre, reflecting on the amazing experiences and beautiful sights you’ve seen. Enjoy the scenic drive as you remember your adventure in Malawi. Our driver will drop you at Chileka International Airport
Extend with
Mulanje Mountain (3-4 days)
Hiking up the highest mountain of Malawi. Please contact us for more info.
